When we began creating our song we were stuck on finding a melody. This problem was carried along until the end when we finally decided on how the melody would sound. Sundrops went from a very 50’s swing song to a more modern type of music from that era. We went through many versions of our song until we chose this version as our final.
Some other problems we met was making everything fit together and sound like one song. We had many choppy part that we changed drastically to fix the choppy bits. We also decided to cut out the lyrics because we found that it would be very difficult to complete and record the lyrics in the time that we had.
Finally, we created the melody which pulled everything together and finished the sound. Something we can improve on is timing all the garage band layers properly because sometimes notes will sound out of place.
